Sunni is a life-long Kansan and proud to be a Jayhawk. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas where she majored in graphic design. She went on to earn her master’s degree in business administration from Southwestern College. With increased activity in the real estate market, Sunni saw a need and became a licensed agent. In 2013 she joined her mother—Cathy Sheets, manager/broker at J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc., Belle Plaine—in her real estate business.
Sunni enjoys being a part of the MS Walk in Wichita; she likes raising awareness while also raising funds for a cause that’s dear to her. Besides multiple sclerosis, she has also been the team captain for numerous different Big Brothers Big Sisters – Bowl for Kid’s Sake teams, participated in Woofstock, and served on numerous committees including Geuda Fest, Community Involvement, and Belle Plaine Education Foundation to name a few.
Giving back to the community and taking care of the world around her are important missions in Sunni’s life work and she’s especially passionate about Habitat for Humanity and Numana, Inc. While Sunni continues with her design and marketing as she incorporates that experience into the real estate realm, she looks forward to continuing to provide exceptional customer experiences with you on your real estate journey.
“I believe if we all followed the Golden Rule the world would be a better place.” Although spending time with her family is her favorite thing to do, her hobbies also include photography, scrapbooking, and genealogy. Sunni and her husband Curtis (also a licensed Realtor) make their home in Sumner County where they are devoted to raising two young men. Real estate truly is a family business for them.
